This video work is an exploration of myself and of trust as an inner process: trust in life, in processes, and in myself. Not as a passive ‘let things be as they may’, but as a state in which I float on the waves, with the current, remaining gentle yet resolute.
Almost the entire video will be built around floating collages in an aquarium.
Here, the aquarium is a model of the world: a confined space where depth, current, surfacing and submerging are still possible. Within this ‘little universe’, the fragments begin to behave like thoughts and feelings: they connect, break apart, cling to one another, and form symbols.
